You have more than likely already seen these scales - in produce departments of grocery stores all over the US.  Built for years of trouble free usage.  The CP at the end of the item number simply signifies Circular Platform.  NOTE: The circular platform is not intended to be used by itself.  These mechanical scales are the same as the M series, only these have a round metal top. (This round metal top part is not stainless steel).  These scales are recommended when you want to utilize the spider/bowl assembly and then you have a rounded base under the spider instead of having the corners of the standard square platform top showing.  You can also have the bowl bolted directly to the round platform top.  The round top featured on the -CP series allows you to mount a variety of devices on top.  We offer a spider cradle assembly and two bowl options listed below.  This is also very popular with those who make their own tops.  The "PK" in the part number simply means the dial chart shows Pounds and Kilograms.
