Click the pictures to enlarge   Each notch's opening is approximately 1 1/4in.  The lip on the front of each notch is perfect for holding the lip of plates, tiles, etc..  Over the years, many customers have also told us they really like these for displaying other items such as knives, and long skinny tools such as screw drivers and chisels.  One told us about using this to display long oversized pencils.  Pretty much anything that will fit in the notches displays very nicely. The two sides attach to the center rods with included screws. Ships flat for easier and safer transport.
